I am/was/were totally caught off guard when I found out that I was totally locked out of my apartment. It's ridiculously frustrating! I have/don't have a spare tool on me, and calling a locksmith feels as if terrible idea. I've tried all sorts of things, like peeking through the cracks, but it's no use.
